Fans of The Legend of Zelda saga will have to wait a few more months, but the wait promises to be worthwhile. Dark Horse Books has officially announced the publication, on October 20, 2026, of the English version of the official Tears of the Kingdom artbook, titled "Secrets of the Zonai." The volume, already available in Japan under the title Master Works since August 2024, is being adapted with enhancements.

Two Editions for Collectors

According to Gameblog and Nintendo-Difference, the artbook will be offered in two versions. The Standard Edition will include over 400 pages of illustrations, concept art, developer commentary, and design secrets. The limited Hero's Edition will add a premium slipcase, exclusive lithographs, and unreleased bonus content. Pre-orders are already open on Amazon in the United States and Germany.

A Treasure for Tears of the Kingdom Fans

The volume delves into the behind-the-scenes creation of Hyrule: from the sky islands to the underground depths, including the design of the Zonai, that mysterious civilization at the heart of the plot. Nintendo's designers reveal preparatory sketches, abandoned ideas, and the artistic choices that shaped one of the decade's most acclaimed games.

A Note for French Fans

For now, only the English version is confirmed. No French translation has been announced by Dark Horse or any French-language publisher. French fans will therefore have to look into imports, with an estimated price of around 50 dollars for the Standard Edition and 80 dollars for the Hero's Edition.
